Eligibility: Raffle open only to legal residents of Georgia, who are at least 21 years of age.

Each raffle ticket costs $100.  There is no limit to the number of raffle tickets per person.

Winner must be a Priority Club Reward member or willing to register as one in order to receive Priority Club points valid towards their stay at the Venetian and Palazzo Resorts.

Raffle Drawing: The Raffle drawing will be conducted at the end of the Gala on May 7, 2011.  The drawing will be conducted by a member of the JDRF staff that is registered with the state of Georgia and Fulton County to conduct raffle drawings.  The winner is randomly selected and does not have to be present to win.

If the winner is not present that evening, the Sponsor will attempt to contact the potential winner within fifteen (15) business days from the date of the drawing.  If Sponsor is unsuccessful in contacting the potential winner or if raffle prize is otherwise unclaimed or if raffle prize is forfeited by potential winner, such raffle prize will not be awarded. Sponsor can use unclaimed raffle prize for other means of raising funds on behalf of the non-profit.

Odds: Odds of winning the raffle prize depend on the number of raffle tickets purchased during the Raffle Period and the number of raffle tickets that an individual purchases. Odds of winning the Raffle depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Raffle Period.

Prize: A four (4)-day, three (3)-night trip for two (2) to the Venetian and the Palazzo. Trip for Raffle Winner and Guest includes $2,000 airfare allowance from Delta Air Lines, three (3)-nights standard hotel accommodations (double occupancy, includes room and tax) at the Venetian and the Palazzo Resorts(awarded in the form of Forty Thousand (40,000) Priority Club® points and a two (2)-night gift certificate issued by the Venetian and the Palazzo), two (2) tickets to the Phantom of the Opera performance, $100 gift cards for the Grand Lux Café, and the Chefs Tasting Menu with Wine Pairing for two (2) guests at Pinot Brasserie. Total Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of Grand Prize: US$2,500.  Actual value depends on date/time/point of departure/destination, and any difference between the stated ARV and actual value will not be awarded. Grand Prize Winner and Guest are solely responsible for any ground transportation, checked baggage fees, food and beverage, other incidental hotel expenses and other expenses not listed in these Official Rules. Raffle Winner and Guest must travel on same itinerary and all travel arrangements must be made with Sponsor or Sponsor’s agent at least twenty one (21)-days in advance of travel. Travel subject to availability and must be completed on dates approved by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited. Some restrictions and blackout dates may apply. Travel must be completed by December 31, 2011. No cancellation of reservation or transfer of reservation to another date after reservation has been made. If Raffle Winner’s Guest is a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, he/she must be accompanied by his/her parent or legal guardian at his/her own expense if the parent/legal guardian is not the Raffle Winner.

If winner is already a Priority Club® Rewards member, Sponsor will arrange to have Priority Club® points deposited into winner’s Priority Club® account. If winner is not already a Priority Club® member, they must join for free at www.priorityclub.com in order to receive hotel stay prize. Use of Priority Club® points are subject to the Membership Terms and Conditions of the Priority Club® program which are subject to change without notice and can be found at www.priorityclub.com. Certain restrictions may apply, which are subject to change at the sole discretion of Sponsor.  

The winner is solely responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, provincial and local or other applicable taxes, redemption fees, if any, and any other expenses associated with acceptance or use of prize(s) not specified herein. All properly claimed prizes will be awarded provided a sufficient number of eligible entries are received. Prizes are non-transferable except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. No substitutions or cash redemptions except at Sponsor’s sole discretion, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize/prize component of equal or greater value if entire prize or a component of the prize is unavailable for any reason.

Winners’ Priority Club® points will be credited to winner’s Priority Club® account within 4 weeks of Sponsor’s receipt of winner verification forms (as described below). The credited points may thereafter be redeemed in any manner consistent with the Priority Club® program Membership Terms and Conditions, which are subject to change at any time, without notice. Limitations of Liability: By participating in this Raffle Drawing, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), Venetian Casino Resort, LLC and each of their parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, printers, advertising and promotion agencies and each of their respective employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, use or misuse of a prize, participation, or inability to participate, in the Raffle Drawing.
 
Releasees shall not be liable to any winner or any other person for failure to supply a prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God; any action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entities (whether or not they prove to be valid); equipment failure; terrorist acts; earthquake; fire; flood; war; explosion; unusually severe weather;  hurricane; embargo; labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal); labor or material shortage; transportation interruption of any kind; work slow-down; civil disturbance; insurrection; riot; or any other cause beyond Sponsor’s sole control.

Disputes: To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prizes awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively in the federal courts in the State of Georgia, United States and entrants consent to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of said courts and expressly waives any right of change of venue, forum non conveniens or any like right; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred (if any), including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain awards for and entrants hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. In any such dispute/claim/cause of action, the court shall apply the laws of the State of Georgia with the sole exception of Georgia law governing choice of law/conflict of laws (or the law of any other jurisdiction that would result in the application of the law of any jurisdiction other than Georgia).
