JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Our mission is to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications. To accomplish this, JDRF has invested $2 billion in research funding since our inception. We are an organization built on a grassroots model of people connecting in their local communities, collaborating regionally for efficiency and broader fundraising impact, and uniting on a national stage to pool resources, passion, and energy. We collaborate with academic institutions, policymakers, and corporate and industry partners to develop and deliver a pipeline of innovative therapies to people living with T1D. Our staff and volunteers in more than 100 locations throughout the United States and our six international affiliates are dedicated to advocacy, community engagement and our vision of a world without T1D.

Dear Family and Friends,

I am proud to be part of the 2017 ONE Group! My purpose it to support JDRF's efforts to cure, treat and prevent Type 1 Diabetes (T1D).

This cause is important to me. I've lived with type 1 diabetes for more than 30 years. I am healthy and I have the resources to not let the disease get in my way...at least not too much. But, I am lucky. Others don't have the same access to medical supplies and education. So, they suffer debilitating complications and even early death. I find this unacceptable.

Life with diabetes is incredibly difficult, unnerving and, ultimately, life-threatening. But we CAN help. We can all make a difference and make life better for people with T1D. With every dollar raised, we spearhead research efforts and get one step closer to finding a cure.

Please join me in supporting JDRF, the largest charitable supporter of T1D research, find a cure! You can donate today or I would love if you could join me at The ONE Party on November 15th (or both!), at American Spirit Works. Tickets are $75 per person or $125 for VIP. There will be cocktails, delicious food, music and dancing. Plus, the proceeds will go towards JDRF's efforts, so it's a party you can feel really good about celebrating!

If you can't make it to the party, you can donate online here or write a check. Please make checks payable to JDRF and include my name in the memo portion. You can mail checks to:

3525 Piedmont Road NE, Bldg 6, Ste 300

 Atlanta, GA 30305

Thank you for your support!
