The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Georgia Chapter selected me to become a member of Atlanta's The ONE Group because of my philanthropic accomplishments and community involvement. Honorees will be celebrated at The ONE Party on November 7, 2013 at The Estate from 7:30 pm – 11:00 pm with plenty of delicious food, great music and  while  we all get down on the dance floor, for a great cause!!

JDRF needs our support to find a cure. As an honoree, I have pledged to raise at least $2500 for JDRF. I would like to invite you to support me in this very worthy cause. Monies raised will make a tremendous impact in the fight against T1D. I would sincerely appreciate any contributions that you can make. For those of you near Atlanta, please join me at The Estate on November 7th.

Please help me fight T1D. Donate now, or buy tickets and join me at The ONE Party!!

ABOUT JDRF

JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. JDRF’s goal is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners and is the only organization with the scientific resources, regulatory influence, and a working plan to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D.

As the largest charitable supporter of T1D research, JDRF is currently sponsoring $530 million in scientific research in 17 countries. In 2012 alone, JDRF provided more than $110 million to T1D research. More than 80 percent of JDRF’s expenditures directly support research and research-related education. In 2012 Forbes magazine named JDRF one of its five All-Star charities, citing the organization’s efficiency and effectiveness.
